Daryl Lynn Jay comes from the Komatke Village of the Gila River Indian Community. She is the daughter of Michael and Priscilla Jay and had 2 brothers and one sister. Her paternal grandparents are Vernon and the late Rema Jay. Her maternal grandparents the late Richard and Ethel Parchcorn and she is the proud great granddaughter of Eleanor and the late Andrew Jay and the late Jasper and Daisy Baptisto.

Daryl is currently an employee of the Sheraton Wild Horse Pass Resort and Spa where she the Cultural Ambassador and has the honor of sharing the culture and history of her people the Akimel O’Odhman and Pee-Posh with resort guest.
